SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Robert (Bob) started his career in 1983 as a production engineer for an oil & gas producing company after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
In 1985, due to his commitment to the sport of luge as a National Team Member for Canada, he transferred to an operations support role as a facilities engineer to optimize/debottleneck upstream/midstream production facilities until his retirement from luge after the Olympic Games in 1994.
Over the years, Bob has held progressively responsible positions in both the Owner and EPCM environments. Areas of expertise include conventional and heavy oil facilities, sweet and sour gas plants, deep-cut plants, sweet and sour field compression facilities, pipelines, fugitive emissions control, steam injection, NGL facilities, firewater facilities, railcar and truck load/offload facilities.
Work career encompasses production and facilities engineering, mechanical engineering, project engineering and project management. Special emphasis includes close interaction with client operations personnel, detail design coordination, project management, contract preparation and administration for projects.
Bob is a registered member of APEGA, APEGS, EGM and NAPEG. Bob enjoys mountain biking, golf, skiing scuba diving, and volunteers his time in handyman projects.
